SYFY SUMMER PREMIERE WEEK CONTINUES RATINGS ROLL AS "LEGEND QUEST" AND "GHOST HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL" BOOST AUDIENCES BY 19 PERCENT IN ADULTS 18-49 AND 13 PERCENT AMONG ADULTS 25-54
NEW YORK - July 14, 2011 - Continuing the ratings success of Syfy Summer Premiere Week, the Wednesday, July 13 series premiere of Legend Quest and the third season return of Ghost Hunters International powered ratings up 19 percent among Adults 18-49 and 13 percent in Adults 25-54, compared to the previous four week 9-11PM (ET/PT) time period.
At 9PM, Ghost Hunters International spooked 1.17 million total viewers, including 583,000 Adults 18-49 and 625,000 Adults 25-54.
Following at 10PM Legend Quest improved on its lead-in, discovering 1.18 million total viewers, along with 555,000 Adults 18-49 - retaining 95 percent of the lead-in in that demo - and 574,000 Adults 25-54.
On July 11, Syfy drew the highest Monday time period (8-11:30PM) audience for scripted series in over 10 years, led by Alphas finding 2.5 million total viewers, Warehouse 13 snagging 2.3 million and Eureka grabbing 2.0 million.
On Friday, July 15, Haven returns for its second season at 10PM.
