NEW YORK, July 22, 2011 - HISTORY's highly rated hit series, SWAMP PEOPLE, delivered record numbers and a series high for the network with its season 2 finale on Thursday, July 21 at 9pm EST.
The finale commanded 5.5 million total viewers, 2.8 million Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 - scoring the #1 show on cable for the night and the #2 spot in all of television (behind only Big Brother) with Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49.
Overall SWAMP PEOPLE averaged 4.1 million total viewers for the season, up 32% v season 1.
