THE TUESDAY EDITION OF 'AMERICA'S GOT TALENT' IS #1 SHOW OF THE WEEK IN ADULT 18-49, TOTAL VIEWERS AND VIRTUALLY ALL OTHER KEY MEASURES

THE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY EDITIONS OF 'AMERICA'S GOT TALENT' ARE THE #1 AND #2 PROGRAMS OF THE WEEK IN ADULTS 18-49, ADULTS 25-54 AND TOTAL VIEWERS

NBC RANKS #2 FOR THE WEEK IN TOTAL VIEWERS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 26, 2011 -Paced by the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of "America's Got Talent," which were the #1 and #2 shows of the week in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, NBC averaged a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall for the week of July 18-24, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research. For the week, NBC tied for #3 in adults 18-49 and ranked #2 in total viewers.

Tuesday's two-hour edition of "America's Got Talent" was the #1 program of the week in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures, as well as kids 2-11 and teens 12-17. Wednesday's "America's Got Talent" results show ranked #2 among all programs in primetime's key demographic of adults 18-49. Also ranking among the top programs of the week in adults 18-49 were the Tuesday debut of "It's Worth What?" (#13, tied) and "Love In The Wild" (#21, tied).

With 13.0 million and 10.3 million viewers overall respectively, the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of "America's Got Talent" were the #1 and #2 programs of the week in total viewers. "It's Worth What?" ranked #11 among all primetime programs this week in total viewers.

Primetime averages for the week of July 18-24 in adults 18-49 were Fox (1.5/5), CBS (1.4/4), NBC and ABC (1.3/4) and CW (0.3/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (6.3 million), NBC (5.0 million), ABC (4.7 million), Fox (4.0 million) and CW (0.8 million).

NBC highlights for the week of July 18-24:

* "America's Got Talent" scored the #1 results on television Tuesday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. "America's Got Talent" ranked #1 in its two-hour time period in all key rating categories.

* Versus the same night last year, "America's Got Talent" was up 20 percent in adults 18-49 and 24 percent or 2.6 million persons in total viewers.

* Also on Tuesday, the debut of "It's Worth What?" delivered gains of 27 percent in 18-49 rating and 29 percent or 1.5 million persons in total viewers versus NBC's average in the time period last summer. "It's Worth What?" ranked #2 in the hour in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.

* NBC ranked #1 for Tuesday night in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key ratings categories, marking NBC's sixth consecutive Tuesday win in adults 18-49 and eighth in a row in total viewers.

* On Wednesday, a results show edition of "America's Got Talent" scored the #1 ratings of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures on a competitive night that included CBS's "Big Brother" and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."

* Wednesday's "America's Got Talent" won its 9-10 p.m. ET time period with winning margins of 35 percent in adults 18-49 and 65 percent in total viewers.

* Wednesday's "Talent" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 170 percent in 18-49 rating and 151 percent in total viewers.

* Also on Wednesday, "Love in the Wild" tied for #1 among the broadcast networks in the 10 p.m. ET hour in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in women 18-49. .

* On Friday, "Dateline NBC" tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in adults 25-54 and other key categories. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 50 percent in adults 18-49 rating and 35 percent in total viewers.

* On Sunday, "Dateline," reported its highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since May 22. "Dateline" grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key categories, including gains of 38 percent in adults 18-49 and 27 percent in adults 25-54

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of July 18-24:

On Monday, July 18 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" averaged a 1.2 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall.

At 9 p.m. ET "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged a 0.8/2 in adults 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall.

At 10 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Harry's Law" delivered a 0.7/2 and 4.2 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Harry's Law" grew by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.7).

On Tuesday, July 19 from 8-9 p.m. ET, the premiere of "It's Worth What?" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall) delivered gains versus NBC's average in the time period last summer of 27 percent in 18-49 rating (1.9 vs. 1.5, "live plus same day," non-sports) and 29 percent or 1.5 million persons in total viewers (6.726 million vs. 5.198 million). "It's Worth What?" ranked #2 in the hour in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.

From its first half-hour to its second, "It's Worth What?" grew by 11 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.0 from a 1.8) and by 21 percent in women 18-49 (to a 2.3 from a 1.9).

Tuesday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.6/10 in adults 18-49, 13.0 million viewers overall) scored the #1 results on television Tuesday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. "America's Got Talent" ranked #1 in its two-hour time period in all key rating categories versus mostly original programming on the broadcast networks, including Fox's "Masterchef," ABC's "101 Ways To leave a Game Show" and "Combat Hospital" and CBS's "48 Hours Mystery."

Versus the same night last year, "America's Got Talent" was up 20 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 3.6 rating from a 3.0) and 24 percent or 2.6 million persons in total viewers (13.042 million vs. 10.484 million).

NBC ranked #1 for the night in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key ratings categories. This marked NBC's sixth consecutive Tuesday win in adults 18-49 and eighth in a row in total viewers.

On Wednesday, July 20, at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of Tuesday's debut of "It's Worth What?" averaged a 1.0/3 in adults 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers overall.

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, a results show edition of "America's Got Talent" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 10.3 million viewers overall) scored the #1 ratings of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures on a competitive night that included CBS's "Big Brother" from 8-9 p.m. and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" from 8-10 p.m. "Talent" built on its lead-in by 170 percent in 18-49 rating and 151 percent in total viewers.

"America's Got Talent" won its time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures. The "Talent" margin of victory in adults 18-49 was 35 percent (2.7 vs. a 2.0 for Fox's second-place "So You Think You Can Dance" in that hour), and in total viewers, "Talent's" advantage was 65 percent (10.3 million vs. 6.3 million for CBS's "Criminal Minds" encore in second place).

Versus the same night last year, the Wednesday "Talent" was up 4 percent in adults 18-49 (2.7 rating vs. a 2.6) and 3 percent in total viewers (10.318 million vs. 10.017 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Love in the Wild" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) tied for #1 among the broadcast networks in the hour in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in women 18-49.

On Thursday, July 21 at 8 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Community" averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall. At 8:30 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Parks and Recreation" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 1.8 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 17 percent in 18-49 rating.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 29 percent in 18-49 rating. From 9:31-10 p.m., a rebroadcast "30 Rock" averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-4 and 2.3 million viewers overall.

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "Love Bites" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 1.8 million viewers overall.

On Friday, July 22 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Who Do You Think You Are?" averaged a 0.7/3 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in adults 25-54 and other key categories. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 50 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.0) and 35 percent or more than 1.4 million persons in total viewers (5.6 million vs. 4.1 million).

"Dateline NBC" tied for the #1 rating of the night in adults 18-49 on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW.

On Saturday, July 23 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Who Do You Think You Are?" averaged a 0.4/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 25 percent in 18-49 rating and 34 percent in total viewers.

Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) increased week to week by 11 percent in 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 0.9) and 13 percent in total viewers (4.667 million vs. 4.112 million). "SVU" built on its lead-in by 100 percent in 18-49 rating and 71 percent or more than 1.9 million persons in total viewers.

On Sunday, July 24, from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) reported its highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since May 22. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" grew in all key categories, including gains of 38 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 0.8) and 27 percent in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.1). In the hour, "Dateline" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-49.

Sunday from 8-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) scored its highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday encore since June 26.

Sunday at 10 p.m. ET, "The Marriage Ref" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall, matching its 18-49 rating of the prior week and growing by 25 percent versus its 0.8 rating of two weeks earlier. In the time period, "Marriage Ref" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults and women 18-34.
