"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
The 4A finale of ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," ranked as Monday's No. 1 TV telecast in Females 12-34 (1.55 million/3.4 rating) and Female Teens (515,000/4.4 rating), and cable's No. 1 scripted telecast among Women 18-34 (1.04 million/3.1 rating) and Women 18-49 (1.40 million/2.2 rating).
The "Secret Life" 4A finale posted its 2nd-best numbers of its fourth season in Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49 and Viewers 12-34, as well as across key female demos, and ranked as its No. 3 telecast in Total Viewers (2.83 million).
· During Summer 2011, "Secret Life" was basic cable's No. 1 scripted original series among Adults 18-34, the No. 2 original basic cable scripted series in Women 18-34, behind "Pretty Little Liars," and the No. 3 basic cable original scripted series in Viewers 12-34 and Females 12-34, behind "Pretty Little Liars" and "Switched at Birth."
· During its 4A season, "Secret Life" was easily cable's No. 1 telecast at 8 o'clock in core measures each week, and overall towered over the No. 2 cable network in the hour, VH-1, by 36% in Adults 18-34 (1.29 million vs. 950,000), by 35% in Women 18-34 (1.01 million vs. 746,000), by 17% in Adults 18-49 (1.82 million vs. 1.56 million), by 21% in Women 18-49 (1.45 million vs. 1.20 million), by 75% in Females 12-34 (1.98 million vs. 1.13 million) and by 82% in Females 12-34 (1.61 million vs. 883,000).
· Versus last year's 3A finale (9/6/10), "Secret Life" delivered sizeable gains in key demos, including by 10% in Adults 18-34 (1.26 million vs. 1.15 million), by 18% in Women 18-34 (1.04 million vs. 882,000) and by 11% in Women 18-49 (1.40 million vs. 1.26 million).
