October 25, 2011 (Burbank, CA) - Viewers came looking for Southern hospitality and Upper East Side duplicity last night on The CW, as HART OF DIXIE and GOSSIP GIRL rose week-to-week to give The CW its most watched Monday night (1.7M) since February 7, 2011 according to preliminary Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Monday, Oct. 24, 2011.
GOSSIP GIRL was up 18% in total viewers versus last week (1.4M), with its most watched episode since the season premiere. GOSSIP GIRL was up 17% in women 18-34 (1.4/4) and up 11% in women 18-49 (1.0/2) versus last week.
HART OF DIXIE had its most watched episode to date last night and matched series highs in all key demos. It was up 19% in total viewers (2M) week-to-week, up 13% in adults 18-34 (0.9/2), up 25% in women 18-34 (1.5/4), up 33% in adults 18-49 (0.8/2) and up 20% in women 18-49 (1.2/3).
HART OF DIXIE built on its GOSSIP GIRL lead-in in total viewers and all key demos last night.
