Across October 2011, Cartoon Network's Monday and Tuesday nights Ranked #1 on All Television Among Boys 6-11 and 9-14

Across October 2011, Cartoon Network's Monday and Tuesday nights (7-9 p.m.) ranked #1 on all television among boys 6-11 and 9-14.

Additionally, both Monday and Tuesday nights (7-9 p.m.) achieved solid gains among key demos vs. Oct. 2010. On Monday nights, average kids 6-11 delivery (878,000) increased by 6% and kids 9-14 (731,000) increased by 23%. The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.), Adventure Time (8 p.m.), Regular Show (8:15 p.m.) and MAD (8:30 p.m.) all ranked #1 in their time periods on all television among all key boy demos. On Tuesday nights, average kids delivery also marked significant gains, with kids 6-11 delivery (527,000) and kids 2-11delivery (798,000) both increasing by 13%, and kids 9-14 (388,000) growing by 16%.

ADULT SWIM

Across October, Adult Swim's newest original series NTSF:SD:SUV:: (Thursday, 12:15 a.m.) scored double-digit delivery gains vs. October last year among targeted demos: adults 18-34 (612,000) grew by 27%, adults 18-49 (835,000) grew by 30%, men 18-34 (378,000) grew by 31% and men 18-49 (518,000) grew by 34%.

This October, Adult Swim once more claimed the #1 monthly ranking for Total Day Delivery among adults 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49, and men 18-24 and 18-34 (#2 among men 18-49, behind ESPN).

Adult Swim programming accounted for 13 of the top 50 telecasts for the month (October) on basic cable among adults 18-34.

truTV

truTV continues to win younger viewers, earning its most-watched October in the network's entire history in primetime for men 18-34. The network also grew an impressive 13% in the demo. truTV's median age for the month was just 43, down two years from a year ago.

During October, truTV was led by its hit series Hardcore Pawn (Tuesday 9-9:30 p.m.). The program earned sensational Top 2 rankings among ad-supported cable networks in its time period among adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, men 18-34 and men 18-49. Hardcore Pawn ranked among the Top Five for total viewers (2,640,000). The show also yielded incredible growth compared to the time period a year ago, including 259% with adults 18-49. The fourth season finale of Hardcore Pawn delivered 2,549,000 total viewers, the biggest audience ever for a truTV series.

On Mondays, Lizard Lick Towing was strong, including a Top Five ranking among men 18-49. Operation Repo (Wednesday 9-9:30 p.m.), another truTV favorite, averaged 1.6 million viewers in October. The program also notched outstanding growth over year-ago, including 55% with adults 18-49. Bear Swamp Recovery delivered solid results in October, with 506,000 adults 18-49.

Finally, Wipeout (Friday 8-9 p.m., 9-10 p.m.) garnered extraordinary results during October. The show notched very strong growth versus the year-ago time period, including 70% with adults 18-49 and 85% with adults 18-34. The show's audience had a median age of 39, a remarkable 10 years younger than last October's time period.

TBS

The Big Bang Theory ranked as the #1 sitcom on basic cable for the month of October among households (1,304,000), adults 18-49 (929,000) and adults 25-54 (943,000). Last week, The Big Bang Theory showed growth over the previous weeks' episodes in households (+5%), viewers (+6%), adults 18-34 (+20%), adults 18-49 (+7%) and adults 25-54 (+4%). The Big Bang Theory also held 15 of the top 20 telecast rankings with viewers and adults 18-49 among sitcoms on basic cable last week.

Last week, CONAN averaged 745,000 viewers, 319,000 adults 18-34 and 501,000 adults 18-49. The Emmy(R)-nominated show continues to score strong numbers through time-shifted viewing. CONAN grew its audience for the week of Oct. 10 by 22% in total viewers, for a final Live + 7 tally of 725,000. Adults 18-34 grew by 34% to 287,000, and adults 18-49 grew by 28% to 522,000.

TBS's Major League Baseball Postseason covered featured several highlights, including Game 5 of the Detroit Tigers at New York Yankees on Oct. 6, which was the most-watched League Division Series game on ad-supported cable ever, with 9,720,000 total viewers. Game 5 also ranked as the most-watched LDS game on broadcast or cable television since 2005. The Oct. 7 St. Louis Cardinals at Philadelphia Phillies Game 5 of the National League Division Series drew 8,389,000 total viewers, making it the most-watched NLDS game ever on cable television. In all, the 2011 MLB Postseason on Turner reached over 92 million total viewers.
