CBS'S REALITY SERIES HIT SEASON HIGHS DURING WORLD SERIES WEEK
"Survivor" Delivers Best Ratings in Nearly a Year, While "The Amazing Race" Dashes Off to Its Largest Audience of the Season
CBS's two reality series - SURVIVOR and THE AMAZING RACE - both notched season-high ratings during World Series week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 30.
SURVIVOR delivered its largest audience and highest adult 18-49 rating since Dec. 15 ("Survivor: Nicaragua") and largest adult 25-54 rating since Dec. 8. SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC was first in viewers (11.79m), adults 18-49 (3.5/11) and adults 25-54 (4.9/13) in its time period.
Meanwhile, Sunday's edition of THE AMAZING RACE dashed off with 11.01 million viewers, its largest audience of the season. Compared to last week, THE AMAZING RACE was up +14% in adults 25-54 (4.2/09 from 3.7/08), +11% in adults 18-49 (3.0/07 from 2.7/06) and added +1.41m viewers (from 9.60m, +15%).
