Disney XD Delivers its Biggest October on Record in Total Day and Prime

October 2011 - Total Day
During October 11, powered by original series, including Kickin' It," "Pair of Kings" and "Zeke and Luther," Disney XD delivered its most-watched October in the network's history in Total Day (includes Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (270,000) and across all key kid targets: Kids 6-14 (152,000), Boys 6-14 (95,000), Kids 6-11 (121,000), Boys 6-11 (75,000), Tweens 9-14 (100,000) and Tween Boys (65,000).
· Disney XD has grown its Total Day audience year to year for 34 straight months among Boys 6-14 and Boys 6-11 - the longest streak of its kind among all kid networks.
· Disney XD more than doubled Nicktoons in Total Day among Kids 6-11 (120% - 121,000 vs. 55,000), and held the definitive edge across all other kid demos: by 97% among Kids 6-14 (152,000 vs. 77,000), by 56% in Boys 6-14 (95,000 vs. 61,000), by 74% in Boys 6-11 (75,000 vs. 43,000), by 82% among Tweens 9-14 (100,000 vs. 55,000) and by 44% among Boys 9-14 (65,000 vs. 45,000).
· Disney XD posted double-digit percent increases across all kid demos, including Kids 6-14 (+18% - 152,000 vs. 129,000), Kids 6-11 (+16% - 121,000 vs. 104,000) and Tweens 9-14 (+25% - 100,000 vs. 80,000).

October 11 also wrapped as Disney XD's most-watched October on record in Prime in Kids 6-14 (218,000), Boys 6-14 (142,000), Kids 6-11 (177,000), Boys 6-11 (115,000), Tweens 9-14 (149,000) and Boys 9-14 (102,000). Disney XD continues to hold the longest growth streak of any cable network for kids, increasing its monthly audience year to year for the 34th consecutive month among Kids 6-11, and for the 32nd straight month among Boys 6-14 and Boys 6-11.
· Disney XD easily surpassed Nicktoons, topping the key competitor across all key demos: by 83% in Kids 6-14 (218,000 vs. 119,000), by 46% in Boys 6-14 (142,000 vs. 97,000), by 101% in Kids 6-11 (177,000 vs. 88,000), by 60% in Boys 6-11 (115,000 vs. 72,000), by 75% in Tweens 9-14 (149,000 vs. 85,000) and by 48% in Boys 9-14 (102,000 vs. 69,000).
· Year over year, Disney XD grew by double-digit percentages across the board: Kids 6-14 (+17% - 218,000 vs. 186,000), Boys 6-14 (+12% - 142,000 vs. 127,000), Kids 6-11 (+18% - 177,000 vs. 150,000), Boys 6-11 (+11% - 115,000 vs. 104,000), Tweens 9-14 (+30% - 149,000 vs. 115,000) and Boys 9-14 (+29% - 102,000 vs. 79,000).
Disney XD is a basic cable channel and multi-platform brand showcasing a compelling mix of live-action and animated programming for Kids age 6-14, hyper-targeting boys and their quest for discovery, accomplishment, sports, adventure and humor. Disney XD branded content spans television, online, mobile and VOD platforms. The programming includes series, movies and short-form, as well as sports-themed programming developed with ESPN. In the U.S., Disney XD is seen on a 24-hour, advertiser supported network that reaches over 77 million households via its basic cable affiliates.
