This just in: October monthly data, the results of which are stellar for FX!
October, 2011 repped FX's most-watched month in its history in Adults 18-49 in primetime. FX averaged 906,000 Adults18-49 and 1.52 million Total Viewers, up +51% and +44%, respectively, from year-ago.
· In rank among all basic cable net in primetime, FX ranked #4 in Adults 18-49 and #7 in Total Viewers -- up from #8 and #15, respectively, last year.
Driving FX's record-breaking performance are both original series and movies:
· All returning original series are up strongly compared to their year-ago deliveries (A18-49): Sons of Anarchy (+22%), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (+32%), and The League (+39%). Sons (season 4), Sunny (season 7) and The League (season 3) are enjoying their most-watched seasons ever. What's more, the series premiere of American Horror Story ranks as FX's most-watched original series premiere and it is growing through its first four weeks on air. AHS is pacing to FX's most-watched frosh drama.
· Acquired movies are up +62% over year-ago and FX grabbed five of the Top 10 basic cable titles, led by the broadcast premiere of Transformers 2 and Twilight.
· Acquired series Two & A Half Men is up +13% in primetime.
