"Bachelorette Party: Las Vegas" Boasts Double-Digit Growth (+40%) Over Prior Week
NEW YORK - November 8, 2011 - Oxygen's "Bad Girls Club" reunion special which aired last night was the #1 cable entertainment network in the 9PM hour in W18-34 out-delivering broadcast networks NBC and CW, according to Nielsen. The series scored a season high among W18-49 (935,000) and total viewers (1.895MM) and was the highest "Bad Girls Club" telecast among W18-49 since last year's "Bad Girls Club" reunion special part one. The episode which was hosted by gossip guru Perez Hilton posted impressive double digit growth (+17%) in W18-49 over last week's original episode.
Digitally, last night's "Bad Girls Club" OxygenLive event, Oxygen's dual-screen viewing experience, posted season highs at 9PM showing triple digit growth (+143% in unique visitors) over the event from the previous episode. According to Trendrr, "Bad Girls Club" ranked as the #1 most mentioned program among all Broadcast and Cable TV Programs yesterday with regard to social media mentions, beating the ABC's "Dancing with the Stars, Nickelodeon's "SpongeBob Squarepants" and VH1's "Basketball Wives LA."
Additionally, last night's episode of "Bachelorette Party: Las Vegas" which aired following the reunion special delivered 567,000 in total viewers, showing double digit growth (+40%) from the prior week. Last night's episode featured Katie and her bridesmaids, members of a college dance team, who reunite for a crazy weekend in Vegas. The episode featured a surprise appearance by celebrity choreographer, Robin Antin, creator of the Pussycat Dolls, who coached the group on a special dance performance.
