NBC (14.80 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.5, #1) as usual was the network to beat on Sunday with its mix of "Football Night in America #1" (7.23 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.3, #11), "Football Night in America #2" (10.26 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.8, #5), "Football Night in America #3" (13.29 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 4.7, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (17.53 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.6, #1).
ABC (10.14 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.5, #2) then took home the silver with its coverage of "Countdown to American Music Awards" (4.46 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.3, #16) and "The 2011 American Music Awards" (12.04 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.3, #4).
