CBS WINS FIRST SUNDAY IN ADULTS 18-49 ACCORDING TO PRELIMINARY RATINGS
According Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for December 18, which are subject to change due to live sporting events, CBS won its first Sunday of the season in adults 18-49.
Note: CBS had a delay of over 30 minutes in all Eastern and Central time zone markets. Ratings for CBS and time period rankings for all networks are tentative and subject to change.
From 7:30 to 8:30PM, 60 MINUTES was first in households (11.3/18), viewers (18.79m), adults 25-54 (5.9/14) and adults 18-49 (4.4/12). Compared to last week, 60 MINUTES was up +20% in households (from 9.4/14), +40% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/09), +47% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/08) and added +4.06m viewers (from 14.73m, +28%).
SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC (S) finale from 8:30-10:30PM was second in households (7.3/11), viewers (13.06m), adults 25-54 (5.3/12) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10). Compared to the spring finale of SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND (on May 15, 2011), SURVIVOR was up +3% in households (from 7.1/11) and even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Note: In the ETZ and CTZ markets, the winner of the SURVIVOR finale was not announced until after 10:30PM.
At 10:30PM, SURVIVOR REUNION SHOW (S) posted a 5.7/10 with 9.61m viewers, 4.0/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.0/08 in adults 18-49. Note: There is at least nine minutes of the SURVIVOR FINALE in this average.
For the night, CBS was first in households (9.2/15), viewers (15.87m), adults 25-54 (5.9/13) and adults 18-49 (4.5/11).
