Cartoon Network

Across the first week of February 2012, Cartoon Network stood out as the #1 television network - broadcast & cable - in early prime time (7-9 p.m.) among boys 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14 every night of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Among those nights, Monday and Wednesday night charted mostly double-digit delivery gains (between 18% -81% among kid demos) compared to last year's time period across kids and most boys demos.

Among its original programming, the network's newest live-action comedy series Level Up (Tuesday, 8 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 2-11 and 6-11, and #1 in its time period among all boys (including 9-14). Additional animated series that night--The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m., & recently named the 2012 Annie Award Winner for Best Animated Series for Kids) and Adventure Time (7 p.m.) - each ranked #1 in their time periods among all boys.

Overall for the week, Cartoon Network's early evening prime time (M-Su, 7-9 p.m.) averaged significant delivery gains across all kids demos vs. the same time period last year-average kids 6-11 delivery (730,000) increased by 17%, kids 2-11 (985,000) by 9% and kids 9-14 (561,000) by 17%. Total Day weekly delivery also grew by 7% among kids 9-14.

Monday night comedies (7-9 p.m.) once again propelled Cartoon Network to the #1 destination on all broadcast & cable television among kids 9-14 and all boys (2-11, 6-11 & 9-14), charting double-digit delivery gains among kids demos ranging between 18% - 58%. Regular Show (8 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among all boy demos, while Adventure Time (7 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.) and MAD (8:30 p.m.) each ranked #1 in their time periods among all boys.

Wednesday night's Ninjago (8 p.m.) continues to power Cartoon Network's Wednesday night (7-9 p.m.), ranking as television's #1 telecast of the day among kids 6-11 and all boys on all TV, and #1 among kids 9-14 on basic cable. The series also ranked #1 in its time period among kids 2-11 & 6-11, posting double and triple digit delivery gains across the board, ranging between 89% and 139%.
