FOX Weekly Ratings - Network Ranks No. 1 on Four of Seven Nights, Widens Season Lead

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 20 - 26, 2012

FOX RANKS NO. 1 ON FOUR OF SEVEN NIGHTS, WIDENS SEASON LEAD

FOX delivered another strong performance last week, ranking No. 1 on four of seven nights and posting a second-place finish for the week against an Oscars-boosted ABC. In fact, excluding specials, FOX and CBS ranked No. 1 last week among Adults 18-49 and outperformed ABC by +33% (2.4 vs. 1.8). Season to date, FOX is averaging a 3.3/9 in the core adult demographic and remains firmly in first place this season.

Excluding sports and specials last week, FOX had:

· 4 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 3), AMERICAN IDOL-Thurs (No. 5), NEW GIRL (No. 14 tie) and GLEE (No. 14 tie).

· 5 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 4), NEW GIRL (No. 5), AMERICAN IDOL-Thurs (No. 8), GLEE (No. 10), RAISING HOPE (No. 14) and HOUSE (No. 16).

Monday's HOUSE delivered a 2.4/6, followed by ALCATRAZ, which posted a 1.8/4.

TUESDAY

8:00-9:00 GLEE: (Adults 18-49: 3.0/8, 7.5 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-9:31 NEW GIRL: (Adults 18-49: 3.0/8, 6.3 Mil Total Viewers)

9:31-10:00 RAISING HOPE: (Adults 18-49: 2.1/5, 4.7 Mil Total Viewers)

8:00-10:00 FOX PRIME: (Adults 18-49: 2.8/7, 6.5 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX ranked No. 1 on Tuesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. In fact, FOX outperformed the second place network for the night, NBC by +93% in Adults 18-34 (2.7 vs. 1.4).

At 8pm, GLEE posted a 3.0/8, up +7% from the previous week and up +7% in Total Viewers (7.5 vs. 7.0 Mil.). GLEE was the highest rated program of the night in Teens, Women 18-49 and Women 18-34 and ranked No. 2 in Adults 18-49 (tied with NEW GIRL). GLEE won its hour among Adults 18-34 and Teens and ranked #2 in Adults 18-49.

NEW GIRL followed with a 3.0/8 and was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-34 and No. 2 among Adults 18-49 (tied with GLEE). In the 9pm half hour NEW GIRL ranked No. 1 in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

At 9:30pm RAISING HOPE closed the night with a 2.1/5 and won its half hour in Adults 18-34.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 5.1/14, 16.1 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens. In fact, FOX outperformed its nearest competitor for the night by +70% in Adults 18-49 (5.1 vs. 3.0 for CBS) and +38% in Total Viewers (16.1 vs. 11.7 for CBS). FOX has now won six Wednesdays in a row in Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

The 'Final Judgment #1' of AMERICAN IDOL posted a 5.1/14 and was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Teens and beat the No. 2 programs of the night by +6% in Adults 18-49 (5.1 vs. 4.8 for Modern Family) and +26% in Total Viewers (16.1 vs. 12.8 Mil for Criminal Minds).

AMERICAN IDOL grew in its last half hour vs. its first by +20% in Adults 18-49 (5.5 vs. 4.6) and +16% in Total Viewers (17.0 vs. 14.6 Mil.)

THURSDAY

8:00-9:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 4.5/13, 15.6 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-10:00 FINDER: (Adults 18-49: 2.0/5, 6.2 Mil Total Viewers)

8:00-10:00 FOX PRIME: (Adults 18-49: 3.3/9, 10.9 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX also ranked No. 1 on Thursday night among Adults 18-49 (tie), Adults 18-34 and Teens.

The 'Final Judgment #2' telecast of AMERICAN IDOL delivered a 4.5/13 and was the highest rated program of the night in Teens and Women 18-49.

AMERICAN IDOL won the 8pm hour in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 (tie) and Teens. In fact, AMERICAN IDOL outperformed its nearest competitor in the hour (Big Bang Theory/Rob) by +10% in Adults 18-49 (4.5 vs. 4.1) and +17% in Total Viewers (15.6 vs. 13.3 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL grew in its second half hour versus its first by +22% in Adults 18-49 (5.0 vs. 4.1) and +20% in Total Viewers (17.1 vs. 14.2 Mil.).

THE FINDER closed the night with a 2.0/5, up +7% in Adults 18-34 from two weeks ago (1.5/4 vs. 1.4/4).
