NEW YORK - May 1, 2012 - Powered by Original Programming, Bravo Media earned its best April in network history among all key demos, according to Nielsen. The network averaged 916,000 total viewers, up 10 percent compared to April 2011, and delivered 549,000 adults 18-49. Maintaining its No. 1 position as the most affluent, educated and engaged audience in cable entertainment, Bravo ranked No. 11 in primetime among all cable entertainment networks in the adult 18-49 demo for the month. Fans helped Bravo Digital record its best April ever in video streams and uniques, marking double digit growth up 50 percent and 20 percent respectively year-over-year. Bravo Mobile also delivered its best April ever in page views, unique visitors and streams, with a remarkable 75 percent increase in page views, 76 percent increase with unique visitors and an astounding 249 percent increase in streams compared to April 2011.
April's success was driven by the season four premiere of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," which earned nearly 3 million total viewers, marked the network's most watched season premiere ever. Coupled with "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion part three, which garnered an impressive 3.2 million total viewers, and "Watch What Happens Live" which drew 1.9 million total viewers, Bravo delivered its best Sunday night in network history on April 22.
On April 15, "Shahs of Sunset" earned its highest rated episode of the season with 1.8 million total viewers and 1.2 million adults 18-49. Both "Million Dollar Listing New York" and "Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis" raked in over a million total viewers and earned their highest rated episodes of the season on April 25. On pace to deliver its highest rated season to date, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" is averaging 2.6 million total viewers and 1.7 adults 18-49. On April 26 "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding," starring Atlanta Housewife Kim Zolciak, averaged 1.5 million total viewers for back-to-back premiere episodes.
