FOX WINS SEVENTH WEEK IN A ROW, OUT-RATES NO. 2 NETWORK BY +37%

AMERICAN IDOL, GLEE, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE AND NASCAR Drive Another Weekly Victory For FOX

Last week, FOX ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens for the seventh consecutive week, thanks to the strong season finales of AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE, the inspiring Season 9 premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and Sunday's adrenaline-pumping NASCAR SPRINT CUP-COCA COLA 600 race. The network averaged a 2.6/9 among Adults 18-49 -- +37% higher than the No. 2 network (ABC) last week.

In addition, FOX claimed the #1 program across Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Total Viewers with AMERICAN IDOL and delivered the Top 3 programs among Teens last week. Key highlights include:

· FOX had 7 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 1), AMERICAN IDOL-Tue (No. 2), HOUSE (No. 7 tie), GLEE (No. 7 tie), SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (No. 11), FOX NASCAR SPRINT CUP (No. 17 tie) and HOUSE: RETROSPECTIVE (No. 17 tie).

Monday's special HOUSE: RETROSPECTIVE at 8pm delivered a 2.1/6 among Adults 18-49.

At 9pm, the series finale of HOUSE posted a 2.9/8, up +32% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 and up +36% in Total Viewers (8.7 vs. 6.4 Mil.).

The series finale of HOUSE delivered its highest Adults 18-49 rating and Total Viewers audience in three and a half months (both since 1/30/12) and was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-34 and Men 18-49 (tie). HOUSE won its hour in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers and Adults 18-34.

FOX ranked No. 1 on Monday night among Adults 18-34, No. 2 in Total Viewers and No. 3 in Adults 18-49.

TUESDAY

8:00-9:00 AMERICAN IDOL (S): (A18 49: 4.4/14, 14.8 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-10:00 GLEE: (A18 49: 2.9/8, 7.5 Mil Total Viewers)

8:00-10:00 FOX PRIME: (A18 49: 3.7/11, 11.2 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Tuesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens, and key demos, beating its nearest competitor for the night by +42% among Adults 18-49 (3.7 vs. 2.6 for ABC) and +93% among Adults 18-34 (2.9 vs. 1.5 for ABC and NBC).

FOX has ranked No. 1 every night AMERICAN IDOL has been on this season among Adults 18-49. In fact, last Tuesday FOX achieved the highest rated Tuesday night on any network since 2/28/12 (FOX's own two hour AMERICAN IDOL).

AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE were the top two-rated programs of the night among Adults 18-34 and Teens (GLEE was No. 1 in Teens.)

The AMERICAN IDOL performance finale posted a 4.4/14 with Adults 18-49. IDOL was the No. 1 program of the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, outperforming the night's No. 2 programs by +33% among Adults 18-49 (4.4 vs. 3.3 for ABC's Dancing With The Stars finale and NBC's America's Got Talent). FOX outperformed the combined 3-net average in the hour by +5% in Adults 18-49 (4.4 vs. 4.2 for ABC/CBS/NBC).

The season three finale of GLEE at 9pm delivered a 2.9/8, up +16% from the previous week's telecasts. GLEE posted its highest ratings in three months in Adults 18-49 and in Total Viewers (since 2/21/12) and won its 9p hour in Adults 18-34, outperforming its nearest competitor in the hour by +17% (2.8 vs. 2.4 for NBC's America's Got Talent.) GLEE also ranked No. 1 in the hour in Teens.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:06 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 6.4/18, 21.5 Mil Total Viewers)

With the AMERICAN IDOL Season 11 results finale, FOX won Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens, and all key demos. FOX outperformed the combined 4-net competition for the night by +8% in Adults 18-49 (6.4 vs. 5.9) and +11% in Total Viewers (21.5 vs. 19.4 Mil.) For the night FOX beat its nearest competitor by +146% among Adults 18-49 (6.4 vs. 2.6 for ABC) and +191% in Total Viewers (21.5 vs. 7.4 Mil for ABC).

AMERICAN IDOL's finale was up +45% from the previous week's results show in Adults 18-49 (6.4 vs. 5/17/12, 4.4/15, Thu 8-9p) and up +45% from its Tuesday performance finale show (6.4 vs. 5/22/12, 4.4/14, Tue 8-9p).

The AMERICAN IDOL Season 11 finale outperformed the season two finale of The Voice (on 5/8/12) by +45% in Adults 18-49 (6.4 vs. 4.4) and +81% in Total Viewers (21.5 vs. 11.9 Mil).

THURSDAY

8:00-10:00 SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (P): (Adults 18-49: 2.4/8, 6.3 Mil Total Viewers)

With the season nine premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, FOX won Thursday night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

The SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE premiere posted a 2.4/8 in Adults 18-49, up +20% from the previous summer's finale (8/11/11, 2.0/6, 8-10p).

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. In fact, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE outperformed ABC's premiere of Duets in head to head competition by +41% in Adults 18-49 (2.4 vs. 1.7) and +75% in Adults 18-34 (2.1 vs. 1.2).

Showing substantial growth throughout the night, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE grew in its last half hour versus its first by +29% in Adults 18-49 (half hours: 2.1 > 2.3 > 2.6 > 2.7) and +47% in Adults 18-34 (half hours: 1.7 > 2.0 > 2.3 > 2.5).
