FOR THE 2011-12 BROADCAST YEAR, NBC IS TIED FOR #3 IN 18-49 AND #2 AMONG ABC, CBS, NBC AND FOX FOR THE SEASON IN 18-34

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - June 26, 2012 - With "America's Got Talent" ranking as the #1 non-sports telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox for a fourth week in a row in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, NBC's primetime lineup has averaged a 1.2 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall for the week of June 18-24, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

The broad-based hit "America's Got Talent" was the week's #1 non-sports telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-34, households, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11. "Talent" has now delivered the five highest 18-49 and total-viewer results among all primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, excluding sports, since the end of the May sweep on May 23.

Among NBC's top-ranked programs for the week, Monday's "America's Got Talent" finished #3 in adult 18-49 overall on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and #1 among non-sports programs, Monday's "American Ninja Warrior" ranked #12, Tuesday's two encores of "Talent" ranked #14 and tied for #15, Tuesday's "Love in the Wild" tied for #23 and the Friday and Sunday editions of "Dateline," Sunday's "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" and two Sunday "Talent" rebroadcasts all tied for #28. Rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows.

Primetime averages for the week of June 18-24 in adults 18-49 were: ABC (2.2/7), Fox (1.5/5), NBC (1.2/4), CBS (1.1/3) and CW (0.2/1). In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: ABC (6.4 million), CBS (5.6 million), NBC (4.6 million), Fox (4.1 million) and CW (0.7 million).

For the 2011-12 broadcast year to date, NBC is tied for #3 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 rating and is the only network among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox that's up versus one year ago in viewers 18-49. NBC is also #2 in adults 18-34 for the broadcast year to date. Averages for the broadcast year through 40 weeks are: Fox (3.0/9), CBS (2.8/8), ABC (2.4/7), NBC (2.4/7) and CW (0.7/2). In overall total viewers, the broadcast-year averages are: CBS (11.1 million), Fox (8.5 million), ABC (8.2 million), NBC (7.2 million) and CW (1.6 million).

NBC highlights for the week of June 18-24

* On Monday, "America's Got Talent" delivered the night's #1 results in adults 18-49 and total viewers.

* Also on Monday, a two-hour "American Ninja Warrior" won its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET in 18-49 over CBS's special encores of "Big Bang Theory" and "Two and a Half Men" and ABC's premiere of "The Glass House.".

* On Wednesday, encores of "Law & Order: SVU" grew week to week in total viewers by 6 percent at 9 p.m. ET and by 18 percent at 10.

* On Thursday, Part 2 of "Justin Bieber: All Around the World" delivered NBC's second-biggest overall audience in the time period since May 3.

* Friday's "Dateline NBC" tied for the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright on those networks in adults 25-54 and total viewers. It was a three-week Friday high for "Dateline" in all three categories.

* On Saturday, NBC Sports' coverage of the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in 18-49.

* On Sunday, NBC was #1 in 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, with the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials," "Dateline NBC" and two encores of "America's Got Talent" all winning their time periods among those networks with a 1.2 rating each..

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of June 18-24:

On Monday, June 18 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.9 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 results of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. Despite being preempted on the prior Monday, "Talent" returned to win its competitive hour in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. Versus NBC's average in the time period last summer, "America's Got Talent" was up 164 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.9 from a 1.1) and up 137 percent in total viewers (11.433 million vs. 4.832 million). From its first half-hour to its second, this week's "Talent" grew by 15 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.1 from a 2.7) and 13 percent or more than 1.3 million persons in total viewers (12.1 million vs. 10.8 million).

Monday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) grew versus last week's special Tuesday telecast by 18 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 2.0 vs. 1.7) and by 16 percent in total viewers (5.775 million vs. 4.986 million). Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "American Ninja Warrior" is up 82 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.0 from a 1.1) and up 25 percent in total viewers (5.775 million vs. 4.618 million). Versus NBC's special telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" last summer, this week's telecast is up 18 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 2.0 vs. a 1.7 from 9-11 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011) and up 22 percent in total viewers (5.775 million vs. 4.718 million).

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" ranked #1 in adults 18-49 and other key demos ahead of ABC's premiere of "Glass House" and CBS's special encores of "Big Bang Theory" and "Two and a Half Men" (with a 2.1 rating vs. a 1.6 for CBS and a 1.5 for ABC in the 10 p.m. hour).

NBC ranked #1 Monday night in total viewers and #2 in adults 18-49, within a tenth of a rating point of Fox and ahead of Fox head to head from 8-10 p.m. ET.

On Tuesday, June 19, at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" averaged a 1.5/5 in 18-49 and 6.4 million viewers overall. In the time period, the "Talent" encore tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #2 outright among those networks in total viewers. From its first half-hour to its second, "Talent" grew by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.4) and by 9 percent in total viewers (6.7 million vs. 6.1 million).

Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET, another encore "America's Got Talent" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 20 percent in 18-49 rating and 11 percent in total viewers, despite facing ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals.

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Love in the Wild" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers overall. In the time period, "Love in the Wild" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 behind ABC's NBA coverage.

On Wednesday, June 20 at 8 p.m. ET, Part 1 of "Justin Bieber: All Around the World" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Justin Bieber: All Around the World" increased its 18-49 rating by 13 percent (to a 0.9 from a 0.8) and was also up 10 percent in women 18-49 (1.1 vs. 1.0) and 17 percent in women 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.2).

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" delivered a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall, growing from its first half-hour to its second by 33 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.6) and 34 percent in total viewers (3.7 million vs. 2.7 million). The 9 p.m. "SVU" encore is up week to week in total viewers by 6 percent (3.196 million vs. 3.014 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, another rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall, building on its lead-in by 29 percent in 18-49 and 31 percent in total viewers. The 10 p.m. "SVU" encore is up week to week in total viewers by 18 percent (4.186 million vs. 3.555 million).

On Thursday, June 21 at 8 p.m. ET, Part 2 of "Justin Bieber: All Around the World" averaged a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall. The special delivered NBC's second-biggest audience in the time period since May 3, despite facing NBA programming on ABC, including late-game coverage in the Western U.S. From its first half-hour to its second, "Justin Bieber: All Around the World" maintained its 18-49 rating and grew by 20 percent in adults 18-34 (to a 0.6 rating from a 0.5) and 29 percent in women 18-34 (0.9 vs. 0.7).

Thursday at 9 p.m. ET, "Saving Hope" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers overall on a highly competitive night versus the deciding game of the NBA Finals. Compared with NBC's total-viewer average in the time period last summer, "Saving Hope" is up 15 percent (2.687 million vs. 2.331 million, L+SD non-sports).

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "Rock Center" (0.8/2 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall) grew from half-hour to half-hour by 14 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 rating from a 0.7), by 10 percent in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.0) and 5 percent in total viewers (3.8 million vs. 3.6 million). Despite the NBA competition, "Rock Center" matched its 18-49 rating of the prior week. Versus its lead-in, "Rock Center" was up 60 percent in 18-49, 38 percent in adults 25-54 (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.8) and 38 percent in total viewers. Compared with NBC's total-viewer average in the time period last summer, "Rock Center" is up 44 percent (3.703 million vs. 2.579 million, L+SD non-sports).

Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Whitney" delivered a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall, growing week to week by 11 percent in total viewers (to 2.1 million viewers from 1.9 million). At 8:30, a rebroadcast of "Community" delivered a 0.4/1 in 18-49 and 1.4 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) tied for the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright on those networks in adults 25-54 and total viewers. "Dateline" reported three-week highs in all three categories. In the time period, "Dateline" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright among those networks in adults 25-54, total viewers and other key categories. Week to week, "Dateline" was up 9 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.1), 13 percent in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.5) and 14 percent in total viewers (5.3 million vs. 4.7 million). From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 56 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.4 rating from a 0.9), 67 percent in adults 25-54 (2.0 vs. 1.2) and 50 percent or 2.0 million persons in total viewers (6.0 million vs. 4.0 million.

On Saturday, June 23, NBC Sports' coverage of the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials: Track & Field Finals" from 8-9:30 p.m. ET (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) led the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and other key categories. From its first half-hour to its third, the Olympic Trials coverage grew in 18-49 rating by 50 percent (to a 1.2 from a 0.8) and in total viewers by 25 percent (to 4.2 million from 3.4 million).

Saturday at 9:30 p.m. ET, an encore of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" delivered a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall. At 10 p.m., "The Firm" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.

On Sunday, June 24, from 7-8:01 p.m. ET, the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials: Track & Field Finals" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) led the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and other key categories. From its first half-hour to its second, the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" grew by 30 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.0) and 13 percent in total viewers (4.8 million vs. 4.2 million).

Sunday from 8:01-9 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key categories. "Dateline NBC" matched its highest 18-49 rating for a Sunday telecast since April 15 and delivered its second-biggest overall audience for a Sunday edition since March 25.
