The Hallmark Channel original movie, "How To Fall In Love", strummed the heartstrings of more than 2 million unduplicated viewers as sparks flew between "student" and "teacher" during its Saturday, July 21st world premiere. The film scored a 1.3 HH rating, ranking as the 5th highest rated ad-supported cable movie of the day.
In the Saturday 9-11p time period, "How To Fall In Love" ranked among the Top 10 for household and key demo ratings in HH, W25-54, and P2+. The original movie also placed in the Top 10 for household and demo impressions. "How to Fall in Love" elevated Hallmark Channel to be the #5 rated cable network in prime time for the day among households (1.2 HH rtg).
Starring Brooke D'Orsay ("Royal Pains," "Drop Dead Diva"), Eric Mabius ("Ugly Betty"), and Kathy Najimy ("Sister Act," "King of the Hill"), "How to Fall In Love" tells the story of a former ugly duckling, Harold White, who hires the pretty and popular girl from high school, Annie Hayes, to be his dating coach and help him shed his wallflower ways. Bonding over their shared passion for classic love songs, Annie is able to draw Harold out of his shell and teaches him how to win over a new love interest. When sparks unexpectedly fly between "student" and "teacher", all bets are off. Will they be able to hold onto true love?
