Tuesday Results:
· NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers, winning five of six half-hours among those networks in 18-49.
· From 8-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 9.6 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 results of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers. In the time period, "Talent" is #1 among those networks in adults 18-49 and total viewers ahead of Fox's "Hotel Hell" encore and "MasterChef."
· From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Talent grew by 23 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.7 from a 2.2) and 12 percent or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (10.1 million vs. 9.0 million).
· At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Go On" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) ranks #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49 and all other key demos. "Go On" leads CBS's "Mentalist" encore in the half-hour by a 27 percent margin in 18-49 rating (with a 1.4 vs. a 1.1) and tops ABC's original "NY Med" by a 40 percent margin (1.4 vs. 1.0).
· At 10:30 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Animal Practice" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall) finished within a tenth of a point of #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 rating and is #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in men 18-49, men 25-54 and adults, men and women 18-34. The "Animal Practice" encore is also within a tenth of a rating point of #1 among those networks in the key news demo of adults 25-54. Despite the late 10:30 half-hour, "Animal Practice" retained 71 percent of its 18-49 lead-in and 74% of its 25-54 lead-in from the 10 p.m. "Go On" rebroadcast.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.7/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.3/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; "Nightline," 0.8/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
