Friday Primetime Results (local NFL preemptions on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox):
· Pending updates, at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" is currently averaging a 1.0/4 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall. Though these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings are likely inflated by local NFL coverage, they currently represent NBC's top non-sports results in the time period this summer.
· Pending updates, at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Grimm" is currently delivering a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall.
· Pending updates, at 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" is currently averaging a 1.1/4 in 18-49 and 4.4 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" is currently growing by 9 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.1), by 7 percent in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.4) and by 9 percent in total viewers (4.6 million vs. 4.2 million).
In late-night metered-market households Friday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 3.0/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3 with an encore; "Nightline," 0.9/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
Saturday Primetime Results (local NFL preemptions on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox):
· Pending updates, from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" is currently averaging a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.
· Pending updates, from 9-10 p.m. ET, "WrestleMania 28 - Rock vs. Cena" is currently delivering a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers overall. Pending updates, the "WrestleMania" special topped the 18-49 rating of all entertainment programming that NBC has aired in the time period so far this summer. From its first half-hour to its second, "WrestleMania 28" grew by 25 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.8) and 10 percent in total viewers (2.8 million vs. 2.6 million). Pending updates, the "WrestleMania 28" special is currently up 50 percent in 18-49 rating and 32 percent in total viewers versus the comparable year-ago special (0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.056 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011).
· Pending updates, at 10 p.m. ET, an encore "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" is currently averaging a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall. Pending updates, "SVU" is currently matching its top Saturday encore rating of the summer in 18-49. This week's rebroadcast is currently growing from its first half-hour to its second by 14 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 rating from a 0.7), 11 percent in adults 25-54 (1.0 vs. 0.9) and 24 percent in total viewers (3.4 million vs. 2.8 million).
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday night:
· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Alec Baldwin and musical guest Radiohead (3.0/8 in metered-market households), dominated its time period. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 1.4 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49..
