Monday
"Bachelor Pad" (8:00-10:01 p.m.)
Growing by 8% and 22% among key adult demos, ABC's "Bachelor Pad" hit a best-since premiere performance in Adults 18-49 (since 7/23/12), while matching a season high in Adults 18-34, respectively. At 9:00 p.m., "Bachelor Pad" topped week 2 of NBC's "Stars Earn Stripes" in both Total Viewers (+6% - 3.8 million vs. 3.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (+8% - 1.3/3 vs. 1.2/3).
"The Glass House" (10:01-11:00 p.m.)
In the 10 o'clock hour," the season finale of ABC's "The Glass House" drew its largest overall audience (2.0 million) in 4 weeks - since 7/23/11.
Tuesday
"NY Med" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
From 10:00-11:00 p.m., Part 1 of ABC's season finale of "NY Med" more than doubled its lead-in among Total Viewers (+141% - 4.1 million vs. 1.72 million), while doubling its lead-in in the key Adult 25-54 news demo (+100% - 1.4/4 vs. 0.7/2). In addition, "NY Med" built its Total Viewer (+13%) and Adult 25-54 (+15%) numbers from its first half-hour to its second half-hour, while both CBS (-3%/-6%) and NBC (-25%/-28%) declined across the 10 o'clock hour on both Nielsen measures.
· "NY Med" once again improved on original programming on the year-ago night. In fact, on average this season, the ABC News docu-series grew over "Combat Hospital" in the time slot the prior Summer in Total Viewers (+14%), Adults 25-54 (+8%) and Adults 18-49 (+11%).
Wednesday
"NY Med" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
At 10 o'clock, Part 2 of the season finale of ABC's "NY Med" grew over Tuesday's Part 1 by 7% in Total Viewers (4.4 million vs. 4.1 million) and by 7% in the key Adult 25-54 news demo (1.5/4 vs. 1.4/4), marking the ABC News docu-series' best performance in 5 weeks - since 7/17/12.
· Improving its slot week to week by 5% in Total Viewers, "NY Med" scored ABC's biggest audience in Wednesday's 10 o'clock hour this summer.
· Similar to Part 1, Part 2 of the "NY Med" finale built its overall audience from its first half-hour to its second half-hour (+7%), while both CBS (-2%) and NBC (-2%) lost viewers within the 10:00 p.m. hour.
Thursday
"Wipeout" (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
At 9 o'clock, ABC's "Wipeout" surged over its most-recent telecast two weeks ago by 35% in Total Viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.4 million) and by 25% in Adults 18-49 (1.5/4 vs. 1.2/3), delivering its best numbers in the hour in 5 weeks - since 7/19/12.
· "Wipeout" was the top-rated broadcast program in its time slot in Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11, while ranking as Thursday's No. 1 show on the broadcast networks in Teens 12-17.
· "Wipeout" improved over original programming on the year-ago night ("Expedition Impossible" on 8/25/11 = 1.3/4) by double-digit percentages in Adults 18-49 (+15%).
Friday
"Shark Tank" (8:00-9:01 p.m.)
At 8:00 p.m., ABC's repeat "Shark Tank" finished as the 2nd-most-watched program (4.1 million) to CBS' NFL football coverage (Chicago Bears-NY Giants = 5.0 million), leading its encore unscripted competition on NBC by 1.2 million viewers ("America's Got Talent" = 2.9 million).
· Growing over the prior week by 8% in Total Viewers, "Shark Tank" hit a 5-week high - since 7/20/12.
"20/20-FRIDAY" (9:01-10:00 p.m.)
ABC's replay "20/20-FRIDAY" earned second place in the 9 o'clock hour (4.9 million), behind only CBS' NFL football coverage (5.4 million), topping encore dramas on NBC by 2.9 million viewers ("Grimm" = 1.9 million) and Fox by 1.8 million viewers ("Bones" = 3.1 million).
· "20/20-FRIDAY" delivered its most-watched telecast in 6 weeks - since 7/13/12.
"20/20" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
ABC's encore "20/20" (5.9 million) led the 10 o'clock hour, outdrawing CBS' NFL football coverage by 16% in the slot (5.1 million) to finish as Friday's most-watched TV show overall. Opposite its newsmagazine competition in the hour, the replay "20/20" towered over NBC's "Dateline Classic" in Total Viewers (+59% - 5.9 million vs. 3.7 million), Adults 25-54 (+42% - 1.7/5 vs. 1.2/4) and Adults 18-49 (+44% - 1.3/4 vs. 0.9/3).
· "20/20" generated its largest audience in 7 weeks (since 7/6/12), representing its 2nd-most-watched telecast in the hour this summer.
Saturday
With coverage of "NASCAR Series at Bristol," ABC qualified as the most-watched network on Saturday night, outdrawing runner-up CBS with NFL coverage by nearly 1.0 million viewers (6.0 million vs. 5.1 million). ABC surged week to week by 2.7 million Total Viewers and by 114% in Adults 18-49, turning in its strongest Saturday in 3 months - since 5/26/12.
· Airing from 7:30-11:12 p.m., "NASCAR Series at Bristol" was Saturday's No. 1 TV program in Total Viewers, outpacing CBS' NFL pre-season game (Houston Texans-New Orleans Saints) by 16% (5.9 million vs. 5.1 million).
· Saturday night's NASCAR race improved over the year-ago race at Bristol by 16% in Total Viewers and by 15% in Adults 18-49 (5.1 million and 1.3/4 on 8/27/11), marking ABC's most-watched-ever "NASCAR Series at Bristol" race.
