Tuesday Results (subject to adjustment due to live coverage of the Republican National Convention):
· Pending updates, from 8-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.4/7 in 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall) is currently ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in two-hour averages for the time period in adults 18-49 and total viewers. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Talent" grew by 30 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.6 from a 2.0) and 22 percent or 1.8 million persons in total viewers (10.2 million vs. 8.4 million), pending updates.
· Fast-affiliate ratings for NBC News' live coverage of the Republican National Convention from 10-11 p.m. are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change.
· Pending updates, NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night (New Orleans is excluded and all start times were delayed due to overrun convention coverage):
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.1/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.5/4; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.1/5; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/3 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.6/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; "Nightline," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.8/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
