Pending updates, "Talent" is currently scoring the show's highest Wednesday figures in 18-49 and total viewers since June 27.
· Pending updates, "Talent" currently leads its time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures, establishing an advantage of 47 percent over Fox's second-place "So You Think You Can Dance" in 18-49 (2.5 vs. 1.7 in that hour). The 9 p.m. "Talent" original is currently reporting a 79 percent build in 18-49 rating on its lead-in from a rebroadcast in the prior hour.
· Pending updates, at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) is currently matching NBC's highest non-sports 18-49 rating in the time period so far this summer and reporting a summer high in total viewers, again excluding sports. Pending updates, the "Talent" rebroadcast is currently #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.
· Fast-affiliate ratings for NBC News' live coverage of the Republican National Convention from 10-11 p.m. are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night (New Orleans is excluded and all start times were delayed due to overrun convention coverage):
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.3/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.2/5; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.1/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; "Nightline," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
