CBS WINS IN VIEWERS FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK
All Three "Big Brother" Broadcasts are Time Period Winners in Viewers and Key Demos and Place Among the Week's Top 10 Programs in Adults 18-49
Wednesday Edition Posts Summer Highs in Viewers and Key Demos
CBS placed first in viewers for the second straight week, led by all three editions of surging BIG BROTHER, which won their respective time periods, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sept. 2, Week 50 of the 2011-2012 television year.
CBS also was first for the week in adults 25-54 (tie).
NCIS (R) was the week's top scripted series in viewers while 2 BROKE GIRLS 9:00 PM (R) was the week's top scripted program in adults 18-49.
CBS's three BIG BROTHER 14 broadcasts finished in the top 10 among adults 18-49 and the top 12 performers in adults 25-54, with Wednesday's broadcast posting season best performances in viewers and key demos for Week #50.
For the week in viewers: CBS (4.88m), NBC (4.17m), ABC (3.93m) and FOX (3.35m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS and FOX were tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.5/04) and CBS was tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.1/04. with ABC).
For the week in households: CBS (3.3/06), NBC (2.6/05) and ABC (2.6/04), followed by FOX (2.1/04).
CBS Weekly Highlights:
BIG BROTHER 14 WEDNESDAY was first in households (4.1/07), viewers (6.40m), adults 25-54 (2.9/08), adults 18-49 (2.3/07) and adults 18-34 (1.5/07). BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY posted season highs in these measures.
BIG BROTHER 14 THURSDAY was first in households (3.5/05), viewers (5.45m), adults 25-54 (2.4/06), adults 18-49 (1.9/06) and adults 18-34 (1.3/04).
BIG BROTHER 14 SUNDAY was first in households (3.5/07), viewers (5.65m), adults 25-54 (2.3/07), adults 18-49 (1.9/07) and adults 18-34 (1.5/06).
