Thursday Results (Fox carried NFL football in Milwaukee):
· From 8-10 p.m. ET, the season finale of "America's Got Talent" (2.4/7 in 18-49, 10.5 million viewers overall) is #1 in the time period and for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in in total viewers versus competition that includes Fox's Thursday premiere of "The X Factor" and season premiere of "Glee" "Talent" topped Fox's two hours by a margin of 2.3 million viewers or 27 percent (10.5 million vs. 8.2 million). Head to head in total viewers, "Talent" out-delivered "X Factor" by 9 percent (9.2 million vs. 8.4 million from 8-9) and topped "Glee" by 47 percent (11.9 million vs. 8.1 million from 9-10). In 18-49, "Talent" was #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the slot with NBC's best rating in the time period since September 29, 2011, excluding Olympics.
· Week to week, "Talent" is up 26 percent in 18-49 (2.4 vs. 1.9) and 33 percent in total viewers (10.512 million vs. 7.875 million).
· "Talent" grew dramatically through its four half-hours by 56% with this 18-49 track: 1.8, 2.1, 2.7, 2.8. In total viewers, "Talent" grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 41 percent or 3.5 million persons (12.0 million vs. 8.5 million).
· At 10 p.m. ET, "Rock Center" (1.4/4 in1 8-49, 6.0 million viewers overall) set a series records for a regular telecast in 18-49 and total viewers (excludes the two-hour Jan. 23 telecast that featured a Republican debate, 1.6/4 in 18-49, 7.1 million viewers overall). "Rock Center" was #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key categories.
· NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers (9.0 million) and #2 among those networks in 18-49.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.6/6; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.3/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; "Nightline," 0.8/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
