The "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" Also Posts Best Overnight Rating Since 2010
The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, with guest President Barack Obama, and THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON both delivered their best ratings in the Nielsen's 56 overnight markets since February 2010.
Last night, the LATE SHOW averaged a 4.0/10, the show's best delivery since a 4.3/10 on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, with guests Jennifer Garner, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker and Sade.
Yesterday's 4.0/10 was up +60% from the program's television year-to-date Tuesday average (2.5/6) and up +67% from the Monday-Friday average (2.4/6) during the 2011-2012 television year.
In New York, on CBS Owned Station WCBS-TV, the LATE SHOW delivered 495,000 viewers and a 2.6 rating in adults 25-54, making it the most-watched episode of THE LATE SHOW in New York since Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 and highest-rated episode in adults 25-54 since Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006.
In addition to New York, the LATE SHOW also ranked first in its time period in viewers on CBS Owned Stations in Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, Minneapolis, Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
The LATE LATE SHOW, with guests John Goodman, Arjay Smith and Melissa Etheridge, earned a 1.9/ 7, the highest-rated telecast of the LATE LATE SHOW since a 2.0/7 on Tuesday, Feb.9, 2010 with guests Carrie Fisher and Donald Glover.
Yesterday's 1.9/7 was up +58% from both the program's television year-to-date Tuesday average (1.2/4) and the Monday-Friday average in the 2011-2012 television year (1.2/4).
