Wednesday Results:
· From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Voice" averaged a 1.7/5 in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall. The "Voice" rebroadcast improved on NBC's average in the time period last season by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 1.7 vs. a 1.5, L+SD non-sports) and was up 22 percent in total viewers (5.422 million vs. 4.451 million). From its first half-hour to its second, the "Voice" encore grew by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.6).
· At 9 p.m. ET, an encore "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.2/3 in adults 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) matched the show's summer high in 18-49 rating and is currently generating "SVU's" second biggest overall audience of the summer, pending updates. The "SVU" rebroadcast topped NBC's time-period average last season in 18-49 rating by 20 percent (with a 1.2 vs. a 1.0).
· At 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of Monday's "Revolution" premiere (1.2/4 in adults 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) generated solid additional sampling after Monday's first-run telecast earned the best 18-49 rating for a drama premiere on ABC, CBS or NBC in three years. "Revolution" is currently retaining 100 percent of its lead-in from a "Law & Order: SVU" encore. The "Revolution" rebroadcast is #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key ratings category ahead of ABC's "Revenge" encore.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.4/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.7/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.3/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; "Nightline," 0.9/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
