Friday Primetime Results:
· At 9 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) captured the #1 18-49 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. "Grimm" was #1 or tied for #1among those networks from 9-10 in adults and women 18-34; adults, men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54. "Grimm" won the hour by a 45 percent margin in adults 18-49 over the 1.1 ratings of CBS's series debut of "Made in Jersey," Fox's season premiere of "Fringe" and ABC's repeat of "Last Resort."
· "Grimm" matched its highest 18-49 rating for a Friday telecast since January 20 and delivered its biggest overall Friday audience since that same date.
· "Grimm" increased its rating from its first half-hour to its second in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
· Keep in mind that last season, "Grimm" originals added an average 69 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 ratings when Nielsen issued "live plus seven day" results.
· At 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers overall, and ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 25-54 and total viewers. "Dateline NBC" reported its top Friday 18-49 rating since June 1.
· At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Grimm" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall.
In late-night metered-market households Friday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.7/7; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.7/6; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.6/3; "Nightline," 0.9/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.3/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
