"PERSON OF INTEREST" GROWS IN ADULTS 18-49, MATCHING ITS SEASON HIGH AND LEADING "GREY'S ANATOMY" FOR FIRST TIME THIS SEASON

"Elementary" Holds Against World Series Competition
"Two and a Half Men" Wins Time Period and Continues to Out Deliver the Year Ago Time Period
PERSON OF INTEREST grew week-to-week in adults 18-49, matching its season high and leading "Grey's Anatomy" for the first time this season, while THE BIG BANG THEORY was Thursday's #1 program in viewers and demos, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 25.
PERSON OF INTEREST was #1 in households (8.6/13), viewers (13.97m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08). PERSON OF INTEREST leads "Grey's Anatomy" in preliminary nationals for the first time this season in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and posted its largest margin of victory in viewers since April 5, 2012. Compared to last week, PERSON OF INTEREST was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/09), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/07) and added +40,000 viewers (from 13.93m).
THE BIG BANG THEORY swept its time period, finishing first in households (9.2/15), viewers (15.42m), adults 25-54 (6.2/17), adults 18-49 (4.8/15) and adults 18-34 (3.5/12). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +9% in adults 18-34 (from 3.2/11) and even in adults 18-49.
At 10:00 PM, ELEMENTARY (6.7/11, 10.16m), opposite the World Series, was on par with last week's deliveries averaging 2.2/06 in adults 18-49 and 3.0/07 in adults 25-54.
TWO AND A HALF MEN, coming off season highs last week, was first in households (8.0/12), viewers (12.90m), adults 25-54 (5.1/11) and adults 18-49 (3.7/11) and continues to out deliver the year ago time period by double digit percentages.
For the night, CBS was first in households (8.0/13), viewers (12.76m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09). If these ratings/time period rankings hold, CBS won the first night of the November sweep in these measures for the first time since 2008.
