MTV'S "CATFISH: THE TV SHOW" AND "TEEN MOM 2" SEASON 3 RANK AS MONDAY NIGHT'S TOP TWO ORIGINAL CABLE SERIES AMONG P12-34 FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE WEEK
"Catfish: the TV Show" Was the #1 Rated Non-Sports Show and #1 Among
W12-34 at 11PM on Monday Night Across All of Television
New York, NY (November 28, 2012) -- MTV continues to surge on Monday nights with "Catfish: The TV Show" and season three of "Teen Mom 2" as they ranked as Monday's #1 and #2 original cable series among P12-34 for the third consecutive week. Additionally, in its 11PM time period "Catfish: The TV Show" was the #1 non-sports show among P12-34 and the #1 show amongst W12-34 across all of television. According to Trendrr, "Catfish: The TV Show" ranked as the most social original cable television series on Monday night followed by "Teen Mom 2".
Debuting on November 12, MTV's new series, "Catfish: The TV Show" became MTV's highest rated series premiere at 11 PM ever. For the third consecutive week, "Catfish" was the #1 cable series in its time period among P12-34, also ranking #1 in the time period across all TV with W12-34 for the third week in a row. This week, the show averaged 2.6 million total viewers.
Season 3 of "Teen Mom 2" featuring Kailyn, Chelsea, Jenelle and Leah delivered a 2.3 P12-34 rating and averaged 2.6 million total viewers this week, up from the previous week's episode. For the third consecutive week, Teen Mom 2 was the #1 cable series in its time period among P12-34.
Furthermore, as we continue to examine the evolving viewing habits within the P12-34 demographic and account for Live+3 playback viewing this season, the average P12-34 ratings for both MTV shows are experiencing a double-digit percentage growth in viewership.

The third season of this groundbreaking series goes beyond tabloid headlines and inside the emotional journeys of four young mothers as they face some of their biggest challenges yet, as their children enter into their "terrible twos."
Next week on "Teen Mom 2," Leah decides to visit the local university to get into a nursing program, and Chelsea's friend invites her to Dierks Bentley concert to get her mind off Adam. Jenelle finally pays the price for her probation, while Kailyn takes Jo to court to change their custody agreement.
