"DEXTER(R)" Season 7 Averaging Over Six Million Weekly Viewers - Its Highest Rated Season Yet
"HOMELAND" Up 34 Percent Versus Season One
With only two episodes left to the season, SHOWTIME(R) subscribers continue to make HOMELAND appointment viewing on Sunday nights, as the series delivered its highest-rated episode and night ever this past weekend. HOMELAND garnered 2.2 million viewers at 10 p.m. and 2.5 million viewers for the night. And, for the first time ever, an original HOMELAND episode rated higher than a new episode of DEXTER, the network's No. 1 rated series.
DEXTER delivered 2.1 million viewers at 9 p.m. and 2.63 million viewers for the night this Sunday. Season-to-date, the seventh season of DEXTER is averaging 6.02 million total weekly viewers across platforms, its highest rated season ever, and up 12 percent above its prior season through the same time frame. The second season of HOMELAND is averaging 5.7 million total weekly viewers across platforms to-date, up 34 percent above its freshman season (through the same time frame). Both DEXTER and HOMELAND finale on December 16.
