Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Sunday Night Football" Continues Reign for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

NBC (15.93 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.7, #1) once again was the network to beat with its mix of "Football Night in America #1" (7.10 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 2.3, #10), "Football Night in America #2" (9.63 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.3, #6), "Football Night in America #3" (16.06 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 5.4, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (18.94 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.9, #1).

FOX (8.55 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.5, #2) then claimed the silver with its lineup of "NFL Overrun" (17.32 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.1, #2), "The OT" (11.60 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.3, #4), "The Simpsons" (7.50 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 3.4, #5), "Bob's Burgers" (4.59 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 2.1, #12), "Family Guy" (5.62 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 2.8, #7) and "American Dad" (4.65 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 2.2, #11).

Next up was CBS (9.58 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #3) with new episodes of "60 Minutes" (11.77 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #13), "The Amazing Race 21" (9.48 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.6, #T8), the season finale of "The Amazing Race 21" (9.20 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.6, #T8) and "The Mentalist" (7.89 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.6, #15).

And finally, ABC (6.67 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4) closed out the evening with its combination of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (6.49 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T16), "Disney Prep & Landing" (4.90 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T16), "Disney Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice" (4.78 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T16) and the original movie "Christmas with Holly" (7.68 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.8, #14).

NBC (18.64 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.9, #1) dominated the competition on Sunday with its usual mix of "Football Night in America #1" (7.84 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T11), "Football Night in America #2" (11.85 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 4.3, #4), "Football Night in America #3" (16.88 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 6.2, #2) and of course "Sunday Night Football" (22.51 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 8.5, #1).

CBS (13.22 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.2, #2) then took home a distant second place with its lineup of "NFL Overrun" (17.84 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 5.2, #3), "60 Minutes" (15.66 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.7, #5), "The Amazing Race" (11.88 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.2, #7), "The Good Wife" (11.24 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.4, #13) and "CSI: Miami" (10.38 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.0, #15).

Next up was FOX (5.99 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.7, #3) served up its mix of "NFL Overrun/Bob's Burgers" (9.36 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 3.5, #6), a repeat of "The Cleveland Show" (4.12 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 1.8, #16) and new episodes of "The Simpsons" (6.45 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 3.0, #9), "The Cleveland Show" (4.98 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 2.3, #14), "Family Guy" (6.05 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 3.1, #8) and "American Dad" (4.99 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T11).

And finally, a repeat of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (7.36 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.6, #17) led into a new "Once Upon a Time" (8.91 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.9, #10) and the feature "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (3.70 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 1.3, #18) on ABC (5.92 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4).
