Monday Results (ABC carried NFL football in Nashville):
* From 8-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (4.1 rating, 11 share in adults
18-49, 13.2 million viewers overall) was the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers. Versus the final Monday competition show of the prior cycle, "The Voice" was up 8 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 4.1 vs. a 3.8 on May 7) and up 7 percent in total viewers (13.233 million vs. 12.329 million).
* "The Voice" scored the show's highest 18-49 rating since
November 26. In total viewers, it was the top "Voice" on any night of
the week in three months (since Tuesday, Sept. 18).
* From 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, a preview of "1600 Penn" got solid
sampling, averaging a 2.3/6 in 18-49 and 7.2 million viewers overall.
"1600 Penn" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the hour in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key categories, behind only CBS's "Mike & Molly" and ahead of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and Fox's "Charlie Brown" special.
* From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "Take It All" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.5
million viewers overall) grew 36 percent versus its prior telecast last Friday in 18-49 (with a 1.5 rating vs. a 1.1). This is the top-rated "Take It All" since last Tuesday and the highest-rated episode that did not benefit from a direct lead-in from "The Voice." In the time period, "Take It All" is #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and virtually all other key demos.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:
* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.6/6; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 3.3/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/5.
* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results
were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.7/3; "Nightline," 1.0/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
* At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in
metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in
metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
