NEW YORK - January 8, 2013 - Bravo Media kicks off 2013 with its best night ever in primetime among total viewers and its strongest Sunday night in the network's history among A18-49 behind the strength of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Shahs of Sunset" in their new time period at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Featuring a highly-anticipated break up between Kenya and her man, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" garnered its highest-rated episode of the season with 3.7 million total viewers and ranked number one in the time slot across all cable networks among A18-49 and A25-54. In addition, premiere of "Vanderpump Rules" on Monday night at 10 p.m. delivered over 1 million A18-49, over 1.2 million A25-54 and 1.9 million total viewers, making it the network's highest rated new series launch since "Bethenny Getting Married?" (6/10/10).
In "Shahs of Sunset" the crew headed to Cabo for a spicy getaway, which landed the show its highest-rated episode of the series among all key demos, delivering 2.5 million total viewers. Showing strong season-over-season growth, the January 6 episode was up 62 percent among A18-49 (vs. over 1 million viewers), up 58 percent in A25-54 (vs. 910,000) and up 61 percent among total viewers (vs. over 1.5 million), compared to last season's sixth episode.
Sunday's season nine premiere of "Watch What Happens Live" hosted by Andy Cohen with guests Nene Leakes and Gregg Leakes, from the "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," drew over 1.7 million total viewers and over 1 million A18-49. Tonight at 11:00PM ET/PT, Al Roker of NBC's "Today" and Busy Philipps of TBS's "Cougar Town" join Andy in the clubhouse.
On the next episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" on Sunday, January 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Phaedra and Apollo are eager to begin working on their Donkey Booty video, but things go awry when Kenya feels she's worth more of a cut than Phaedra is willing to offer.
