Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:
CBS (10.735 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.3, #1) was the top draw on Monday thanks to the return of "How I Met Your Mother" (10.424 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.8, #2), a repeat of "The Big Bang Theory" (11.534 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.6, #3), "2 Broke Girls" (12.202 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.1, #1), "Mike & Molly" (11.518 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.5, #4) and "Hawaii Five-0" (9.367 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T5).
ABC (7.963 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) then snagged the silver with week two of "The Bachelor" (7.396 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T5) and a new "Castle" (9.096 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.9, #10).
Next up was FOX (7.911 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3) with a new "Bones" (8.056 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T8) and a second "Bones" (7.766 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T8).
Meanwhile, NBC (5.571 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3) offered up originals from "The Biggest Loser" (6.277 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T5) and "Deception" (4.160 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.6, #11).
And finally, the premiere of "The Carrie Diaries" (1.595 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12) and a rebroadcast of "The Carrie Diaries" (0.930 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13) on The CW (1.262 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) closed out the night.
In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Carrie" delivered a 0.9 rating at 8:00/7:00c and a 0.6 rating at 9:00/8:00c.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline"
averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5
in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in
metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (11.08 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.8, #1) lead the ratings charge on Monday with new episodes of "How I Met Your Mother" (10.12 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 4.4, #3), "2 Broke Girls" (11.29 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 4.5, #2), "Two and a Half Men" (12.90 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.6, #1), "Mike & Molly" (11.17 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.8, #4) and "Hawaii Five-0" (10.50 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.8, #7).
A silver medal then went to FOX (9.97 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.3, #2) with the debut of "Alcatraz" (10.05 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 3.3, #5) followed by a second "Alcatraz" (9.88 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 3.3, #6).
