WITH HOST ADAM LEVINE AND MUSICAL GUEST KENDRICK LAMAR, THE JAN. 26 EDITION DELIVERS THE SHOW'S HIGHEST 18-49 RATING SINCE MAY
IN TOTAL VIEWERS, IT'S THE TOP 'SNL' SINCE MARCH
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - January 31, 2013 - The January 26 edition of "Saturday Night Live," hosted by Adam Levine and featuring musical guest Kendrick Lamar, has achieved the show's highest results for the 2012-13 television season to date in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.
Averaging a 2.7 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49 and 7.3 million viewers overall, the January 26 telecast scored the show's highest 18-49 rating since May 12, 2012 (with a telecast hosted by Will Ferrell featuring musical guest Usher, 2.7) and equaled the "SNL" high since March 3, 2012 (with host Lindsay Lohan and musical guest Jack White, 2.9).
In total viewers, the January 26 "SNL" delivered the show's biggest overall audience since the March 3 telecast hosted by Lindsay Lohan (7.4 million).
Last weekend's "Saturday Night Live" was the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and total viewers, outscoring all primetime programs on those networks in both categories.
Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."
