Monday Results:
NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 by a 50 percent margin over #2 (with a 3.3 rating vs. a 2.2 for CBS) and "The Voice" is the #1 show of the night on those networks, also by a 50 percent margin (3.9 vs. 2.6 for "How I Met Your Mother" and "2 Broke Girls").
* From 8-10:01 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (3.9 rating, 11 share in adults 18-49, 11.9 million viewers overall) won its time period in every key demographic among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and led the slot in 18-49 by margins of 63 percent versus CBS's original comedies (3.9 vs. 2.4) and 105 percent versus ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" (3.9 vs. 1.9).
* Versus the same night last year, which was the final complementation episode leading into the next night's season finale, "The Voice" is up 3 percent in 18-49 rating (3.9 vs. 3.8 on May 7, 2012). In total viewers, the increase is 11 percent (11.885 million vs. 10.738 million).
* Note that every "Voice" telecast during this cycle has grown by 0.1-0.2 of a rating point going from these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings to official nationals.
* From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "Revolution" (2.1/6 in adults 18-49, 6 3 million viewers overall) ranks #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and other key demographics (pending updates). "Revolution" is up 31 percent versus NBC's average in the time period last season in 18-49 rating (2.1 vs. 1.6, L+SD non-sports) and up 24 percent in total viewers (6.345 million vs. 5.106 million).
* "Revolution" is currently up week to week by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1 from a 1.8) and up 16 percent in total viewers (6.345 million vs. 5.487 million).
* Note that "Revolution" is a highly time-shifted show, with the prior week's telecast growing by 63 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.82) to its "live plus three day" result (2.97).
* NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key demographic -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:
* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/6.
* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.
* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
