THE BIG BANG THEORY was Thursday's #1 program in viewers, adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34, leading CBS to a nightly win in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 9.
THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (9.6/17), viewers (15.70m), adults 25-54 (6.1/18), adults 18-49 (4.6/16) and adults 18-34 (3.3/13). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
The season finale of TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in viewers (12.62m), adults 25-54 (4.8/13) and adults 18-49 (3.4/11). Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/10) and added +500,000 viewers (from 12.12m, +4%).
The season finale of PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (7.9/12) and viewers (12.98m), was tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.5/09, with ABC) and was second in adults 18-49 (2.4/07). Compared to last week, PERSON OF INTEREST was even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and added +20,000 viewers (from 12.96m).
ELEMENTARY (5.8/10, 9.15m) was first in viewers and second in adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (1.8/05).
For the night, CBS was first in households (7.5/12), viewers (12.09m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08) for the third consecutive Thursday (all in the May Sweep).
