Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice" Continues Its Demo Reign for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

NBC (9.007 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) was of course the network to beat on Monday with its mix of "The Voice" (10.610 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1) and "Revolution" (5.801 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.9, #6).

ABC (12.097 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) then was the most-watched network with part one of the "Dancing with the Stars" (14.731 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #2) finale and the debut of "Motive" (6.829 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #8).

Next up was CBS (7.473 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3) with a repeat of "2 Broke Girls" (5.021 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #9) followed by the season finale of "Rules of Engagement" (6.249 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.8, #7), repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" (7.564 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T3) and "Mike & Molly" (7.961 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T3) as well as the season finale of "Hawaii Five-0" (9.020 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #5).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.580 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) was out of the hunt with its lineup of "Raising Hope" (1.766 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10), "The Goodwin Games" (1.748 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10), "New Girl" (1.415 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12) and "The Mindy Project" (1.392 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).

And finally, The CW (0.762 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening with a new "Oh Sit!" (0.888 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and a second "Oh Sit!" (0.637 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #15). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Sit" delivered a 0.5 rating at 8:00/7:00c and a 0.3 rating at 9:00/8:00c.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.7/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (5/21/12):

NBC (7.23 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) took home top demo honors on a competitive Monday thanks to a new "America's Got Talent" (9.53 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1) and a two-hour "American Ninja Warrior" (6.08 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T4).

ABC (10.63 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #2) then claimed the silver with the penultimate "Dancing With the Stars" (16.45 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.8, #3) and a two-hour "The Bachelorette" (7.73 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T4).

Next up was FOX (7.42 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3) with its "House Retrospective" (6.15 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T6) followed by the series finale of "House" (8.70 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.71 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4) offered up repeats of "How I Met Your Mother" (4.08 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.3, #11), "2 Broke Girls" (4.65 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.6, #9), "Two and a Half Men" (7.18 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T6) and "Mike & Molly" (6.38 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #8) plus the special "Clash of the Commercials: USA vs the World" (5.98 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #10).

And finally, encores of "One Tree Hill" (0.60 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) and a second "One Tree Hill" (0.52 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (0.56 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Hill" delivered a 0.4 rating at 8:00/7:00c and a 0.4 rating at 9:00/8:00c.
