Live + 7 Day Ratings: ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" Stands as the Week's #1 Drama in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd Straight Week

Live + 7 Day Ratings for the week of 5/6/13 (Week #33):

Based on Live + 7 Day ratings among Adults 18-49, ABC's Modern Family (5.2 rating) topped NBC's The Voice, leading the Monday edition by 4% (5.0 rating) and the Tuesday edition by 16% (4.5 rating). The ABC sitcom ranked behind each telecast of NBC's The Voice in the Live + Same Day ratings. Modern Family further solidified its position as Wednesday's #1 TV show, increasing its lead over Fox's American Idol-Weds (3.4) to a significant 53% with young adults (versus 14% in the initial Live + Same Day ratings).

ABC's Grey's Anatomy finished as TV's #1 drama of the week in Adults 18-49 (4.6 rating), pacing ahead of CBS' NCIS to lead by 5-tenths of a rating point (4.1 rating). Initially, in the Live + Same Day ratings, Grey's and NCIS were tied.

· ABC claimed 2 of the Top 3 biggest gainers via time-shifted viewing among Adults 18-49: Modern Family (+1.9 rating points) and Grey's Anatomy (+1.5 rating points).

· ABC had 7 telecasts gain more than 2 million viewers over their initially reported totals: Modern Family (+4.03 million), Castle (+3.45 million), Grey's Anatomy (+3.26 million), Body of Proof (2.49 million), Scandal (+2.27 million), Nashville (+2.20 million) and Revenge (+2.01 million).

Season-to-Date TV Playback (9/24/12-5/12/13):

Based on TV playback data for the 2012-13 season, ABC's Modern Family is the season's biggest gainer via time-shifted viewing in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, adding on +4.51 million viewers and +2.2 rating points. The ABC sitcom is Wednesday's #1 TV show this season with Adults 18-49, defeating Fox's American Idol-Weds by nearly two full rating points (6.5 rating vs. 4.7 rating). In addition, Modern Family beats NBC's The Voice by 23% (5.3) and The Voice-Tues by 35% (4.8) this season to date.

Grey's Anatomy is this season's #1 broadcast drama among Adults 18-49 (4.7 rating), based on original telecasts.
