The 8.2 million viewers makes this the #2 Stanley Cup Final Game 6 telecast going back to at least 1994 in total viewers, behind only 2010's Chicago-Philadelphia Game 6 (8.3 million on June 9, 2010). Versus the comparable year-ago coverage, this year's telecast is up 65% in 18-49 rating (with a 3.3 rating vs. a 2.0), up 66% or more than 3.2 million persons in total viewers (8.2 million vs. 4.9 million) and up 52% in household rating (4.7 vs. 3.1).

Tuesday: NBC won Tuesday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key measures, led by the #1 show of the night in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories, "America's Got Talent" (2.6/8 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET). "Talent" was the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 by a margin of 53% (2.6 vs. 1.7 for Fox's #2 "So You Think You Can Dance" from 8-10 p.m.).

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Talent" topped the encore-drama competition on ABC and CBS combined in every key category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

"Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall with an 8 p.m. encore; and 1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers with an 8:30 original) returned after a three-month absence and matched its prior 18-49 rating (1.1/3 at 8:30 on March 19). In total viewers, the 8:30 "Rockers" delivered the show's biggest audience since February 26.

Wednesday: NBC's three Wednesday encores all equaled the 18-49 ratings for their prior telecasts three weeks earlier, with a "Dateline NBC" rebroadcast averaging a 1.1/4 in 18-49 at 8 p.m. ET and 5.2 million viewers overall, a "Law & Order: SVU" encore delivering a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall at 9 and a "Chicago Fire" rebroadcast averaging a 0.7/3 in 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall at 10. In adults 25-54, the "Dateline" encore grew 14% versus the show's prior Wednesday telecast (with a 1.6 rating vs. a 1.4 on June 5).

A rebroadcast of "America's Got Talent" (0.9/3 in 18-49 3.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults, men and women 18-34.

Friday: NBC finished #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox Friday night in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers with the top two shows of the night, "Dateline NBC" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) and "Ann Curry Reports: A Face in the Crowd" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m.).
