Tuesday Results:
NBC is #1 Tuesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers and is #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in all other key measures, led by "America's Got Talent," the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and all other key categories.
· From 9-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.3/7 in 18-49, 9.3 million viewers overall) is the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. "Talent" is also #1 in the 9-11 p.m. time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings measure.
· "Talent" built by 25% from its first half-hour to its fourth in adults 18-49 (to a 2.5 rating from a 2.0). In total viewers, "Talent" grew by 19% or more than 1.6 million persons (9.9 million vs. 8.3 million). For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., "Talent" topped the encore-drama competition on ABC and CBS combined in every key category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
· In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, "Talent" delivered a 210% margin of victory among ABC, CBS and NBC in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 3.1 rating vs. a 1.0 for CBS's second-place "Person of Interest" encore). "Talent" topped ABC and CBS combined in the 10:30 half-hour in every key ratings category.
· "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" captured a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall with an 8 p.m. encore, and a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers with an 8:30 original, building by 6% at 8:30 versus the 8 p.m. rebroadcast in total viewers.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.8/7 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
