Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Wins Demo Race with "MasterChef"

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

FOX (5.264 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) held off the competition on Wednesday thanks to new episodes of "MasterChef" (5.208 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3) and another "MasterChef" (5.322 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2).

NBC (7.305 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) then had to settle for second place with a repeat of "America's Got Talent" (6.215 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #6) followed by the Wednesday premiere of "America's Got Talent" (10.479 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1) and the launch of "Camp" (5.221 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #5).

Next up was CBS (4.946 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) with a new "Big Brother 15" (5.853 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4) followed by the season finale of "The American Baking Competition" (4.697 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #7) and a repeat of "Criminal Minds" (4.288 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.766 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up its mix of "The Middle" (3.337 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10), the series finale of "Family Tools" (2.553 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #13), "Modern Family" (2.816 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #9), "The Neighbors" (2.240 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) and "The Lookout" (2.825 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10).

And finally, repeats of "Arrow" (1.176 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) and "Supernatural" (0.888 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) on The CW (1.032 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Arrow" delivered a 0.3 rating at 8:00/7:00c and "Supernatural" a 0.3 rating at 9:00/8:00c.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (5.45 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then took home the silver with repeats of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (4.60 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5) and "Up All Night" (2.77 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #13) followed by a new "America's Got Talent" (7.88 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1) and a repeat of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (4.79 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5).

Next up was ABC (3.86 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and its mix of "The Middle" (3.80 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10), "Suburgatory" (3.32 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10), "Modern Family" (3.73 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T3), another "Modern Family" (3.77 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T3) and a new "Final Witness" (4.28 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.12 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) offered up the season finale of "Dogs in the City" (4.69 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #12) alongside repeats of "Criminal Minds" (5.21 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (5.45 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7).

And finally, repeats of "America's Next Top Model" (0.76 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) and a second "America's Next Top Model" (0.67 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) on The CW (0.71 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Top Model" delivered a 0.6 rating at 8:00/7:00c and a 0.6 rating at 9:00/8:00c.
