Tuesday Results:
NBC is the #1 network among ABC, CBS and NBC Tuesday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures, led by "America's Got Talent," the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and all other key categories.
· From 9-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 9.7 million viewers overall) is the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures, topping the #2 telecast on those nets in 18-49 by a 93% margin (with a 2.7 from 9-11 p.m. vs. the 1.4 from 8-10 for Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance"). In the 9-11 p.m. time period, "Talent" is #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC and Fox in every key ratings measure.
· "America's Got Talent" (2.7/8 from 9-11 p.m.) scored its second-highest Tuesday 18-49 rating in six weeks, down just a tenth of a point from last week's first live telecast of the season, and otherwise the show's best rating on a Tuesday since doing a 3.0 on June 18.
· From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.0/3 in 18-49 3.6 million viewers overall) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 10% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 1.0). All six "Hollywood Game Night" telecasts to date (three Thursday originals at 10 p.m. ET and three Tuesday encores at 8 p.m.) have grown in 18-49 rating from their first half-hours to their second.
· "Hollywood Game Night" is currently matching last week's 18-49 rating in this time period (and is close to rounding up, with a 1.04), while generating an 8% week-to-week gain in total viewers (3.602 million vs. 3.339 million), pending updates.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
