Wednesday Primetime Results:
NBC is #1 Wednesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers with the #1 show of the night by that measure, "America's Got Talent."
· From 9-10:01 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 9.2 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period in total viewers among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and is the #1 show of that night by that measure. Versus the same night last year, "Talent" is running within 0.2 of a rating point in 18-49 (with a 2.1 rating vs. a 2.3 on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012) and is up 7% in total viewers (9.178 million vs. 8.602 million). "Talent" matched its week-ago rating in adults 18-49 (2.1 vs. 2.1).
· At 10:01 p.m. ET, "Camp" (0.9/3 in adults 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall) maintained its week-ago 18-49 rating (0.9 vs. 0.9), pending updates. "Camp" is running within a 0.2 of a point of the slot lead among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and is #1 among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54 (tie).
· In its first seven weeks, "Camp" has earned NBC's top seven 18-49 and total-viewer results in the slot, excluding Stanley Cup Hockey coverage, since May 22.
· From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore recap edition of "America's Got Talent" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key measures. The 8 p.m. "Talent" rebroadcast is growing from half-hour to half-hour by 17% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.2) and by 17% in total viewers (to 6.3 million from 5.4 million). The 8 p.m. "Talent" encore maintained its rating of one week ago in 18-49 and is currently up 1% in total viewers (5.832 million vs. 5.751 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.1/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
