"SVU" held steady or grew in every key measure from half-hour to half-hour, despite last night's return of competition from "Criminal Minds" and the premiere of "American Idol."

· L+3 Time-Shifting: Last week's "SVU" added 41% or 0.87 of a point to last week's next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (to a 3.01 in L+3 from a 2.14 in L+SD) and 2.360 million viewers overall (11.209 million vs. 8.849 million).
