Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/21/14):
NBC (6.762 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) lead the demo race on Tuesday thanks to fresh installments of "The Biggest Loser 15" (6.626 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.033 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T3).
FOX (3.798 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) then was the number two draw with originals from "Dads" (3.888 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (4.548 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1), "New Girl" (3.726 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T3) and "The Mindy Project" (3.031 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7).
Next up was CBS (10.545 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) and its all-repeat lineup of "NCIS" (13.944 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T3), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (10.361 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #6) and "Person of Interest" (7.331 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #10).
Meanwhile, The CW (2.526 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) served up new episodes of "The Originals" (2.354 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T12) and "Supernatural" (2.699 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.1, #11).
In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Originals" delivered a 1.1 rating while "Supernatural" posted a 1.1 rating.
And finally, a repeat of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (3.671 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #14) followed by new episodes of "The Goldbergs" (4.734 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7), "Trophy Wife" (3.482 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T12) and "Killer Women" (3.593 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #15) rounded out the evening on ABC (3.791 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (5.767 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) pulled in front on Tuesday thanks to the two-hour premiere of "The Taste" (6.039 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) alongside the series finale of "Private Practice" (5.223 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T9).
CBS (10.466 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4) however was still the most-watched network despite repeats of "NCIS" (12.731 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (11.659 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T4) and "Vegas" (7.007 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #14).
