Bravo Media's "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Hits A Franchise High With Over 4.6 Million Total Viewers
Oxygen Media Earns Strongest Total Day of the Year With "Snapped: Killer Couples" Delivering Series High Ratings Among Total Viewers
NEW YORK - February 11, 2014 - As part of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, Bravo and Oxygen Media delivered record ratings on Sunday night. Bravo Media's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" marked the most-watched episode in "The Real Housewives" franchise history delivering over 4.6 million total viewers with over 2.6 million viewers in the P18-49 demo, up 18 percent in both demos from the previous episode (1/26/14), according to Nielsen. Adding to the strength of the night, "Blood, Sweat & Heels" garnered 2.3 million total viewers, up 86 percent from the previous episode (1/26/14).
Bravo also delivered digital success as "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" recorded a 26 percent increase in page views, 45 percent increase in page views per unique visitor and 17 percent increase in streams from the prior week's premiere day, earning its best Sunday of the season to date for page views and video streams on both BravoTV.com "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" was the #1 most social cable entertainment premiere of the day for tweets per unique author as well as the #1 most tweeted cable entertainment reality premiere of the day with almost 194,000 tweets and almost 48,000 unique authors.
The momentum continued as Oxygen earned its strongest total day among total viewers and most-watched Sunday of the year in primetime with F18-34 and P18-34. Sunday night's success was driven by "Snapped: Killer Couples," which delivered a series high rating with 655,000 total viewers and season high among F18-34, F18-49 and P18-49. The spin-off of the popular true crime series scored triple digit growth, up 228 percent F18-34, 150 percent F18-49 and 139 percent P18-49 compared to the previous new episode (12/8/13).
For a new episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" tune in this Sunday, February 16 at 8pm ET/PT, Ready to move on from the pillow talk saga, Kenya plans a grand masquerade ball and extending the olive branch anoints NeNe the guest of honor. Kenya also ropes her new friend Marlo in to help find bachelors to be auctioned off at the masquerade for NeNe's favorite charity. However, her event is sent into a tailspin at the 11th hour when she learns that NeNe may not even show up. Meanwhile, Porsha pins her hopes for a future career as an actress on her make or break audition for Kandi's musical. Unsurprisingly, Mama Joyce's meddling returns with a vengeance, forcing Kandi to face what may be the biggest challenge yet to her already fragile relationship with Todd.
