"The Voice" Scores NBC's Highest 18-49 Rating in the Tuesday 8-9 p.m. Hour, Excluding Olympics, Since October 1
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, February 25.

Tuesday Results:

NBC won Tuesday night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks with "The Voice" ranking #1 for the night, scoring NBC's best non-Olympic rating in the time period since Oct. 1.

· "The Voice 6" (3.7/11 in 18-49, 13.0 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) scored NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the Tuesday 8-9 p.m. hour, excluding Olympics, since Oct. 1, 2013, and biggest overall audience for NBC in the time period, excluding Olympics, since April 16, 2013. Despite moving from last fall's 9 p.m. start time to the earlier 8 p.m. hour, "The Voice" last night generated the second-highest 18-49 and total-viewer results for a Tuesday "Voice" since Oct. 22, trailing over that span only the Dec. 17 fall finale. Versus its year-ago Tuesday debut, last night's "The Voice" is within 10% in 18-49 rating (3.7 vs. 4.1 on March 26, 2013) and is up 4% in total viewers (12.965 million vs. 12.407 million).

· From half-hour to half-hour , "The Voice" (3.7/11 in 18-49, 13.0 million viewers overall) jumped 18% or 0.6 of a point in adults 18-49 (to a 4.0 from a 3.4). For the hour, "The Voice" ranked #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in every key demographic.

· An encore of the debut episode of "About a Boy" (2,4/7 in 18-49, 8.3 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) ranked #2 in the half-hour among the Big 4 networks, within a tenth of a point of the slot lead (and was #1 in men 18-34 with a 1.4 rating). The 2.4 is NBC's best non-Olympic result in the time period since the "Voice" finale on Dec. 17.

· Last night's "About a Boy" encore was up 9% versus the show's post-Olympic 2.2 for its original run on Saturday night from 11:05-11:30 p.m. ET. Last night's 2.4 adds to Saturday's 2.2 to produce a combined 4.6. The two telecasts have added together for a combined 16.6 million viewers overall.

· A rebroadcast of the premiere episode of "Growing Up Fisher" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall from 9:31-10 p.m. ET) retained 83% of its lead-in from "About a Boy" and matched its post-Olympic 2.0 for its original run on Sunday night from 10:36-11 p.m. ET. Last night's 2.0 adds to Sunday's 2.0 to produce a combined 4.0. The two telecasts have added together for a combined 15.9 million viewers overall.

· "Chicago Fire" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 7.1 million viewers overall) returned with its first telecast in five weeks and matched its 18-49 rating of the show's prior two telecasts (1.8 on Jan. 14 and 21). "Chicago Fire" won the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 by a 6% margin over CBS's "Mentalist" (1.7/5) and by a 64% margin over ABC's premiere of "Mind Games" (1.1/3).

· From half-hour to half-hour, "Chicago Fire" maintained its rating in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and grew in total viewers despite the 10 p.m. hour, while the drama competition on ABC and CBS declined half-hour to half-hour in all three measures.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

· "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" continues to deliver strong ratings, last night averaging a 4.0 rating, 10 share in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research, up 38% versus "Tonight's" non-Olympic season average (4.0 vs. 2.9, L+SD). "Tonight" matched the combined metered-market household rating in the time period of CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" (2.3/6) and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (1.7/4).

· At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" delivered strong ratings with its second telecast, averaging a 2.2 rating, 8 share in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research, the highest Tuesday "Late Night" rating in metered-market households in five years (since Dec. 23, 2008, 2.4/7). Tuesday's "Late Night" retained 85% of the prior night's premiere 2.6/9.

· Tuesday's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" is up 38% versus "Late Night's" season average (2.2 vs. 1.6, L+SD). The Feb. 25 "Late Night" retained 55% of its "Tonight Show" lead-in, in line with Monday's 58% (2.6 vs. 4.5) and the show's 55% season average (1.6 vs. 2.9). The 2.2 topped the combined ratings in the time slot of ABC's "Nightline" (1.0/3 for the first half-hour of the time period) and CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4).

· At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" (1.2/5 in metered-market households) out-rated ABC's "Nightline" (1.0/3 from 12:35-1:05 a.m.) and CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4 from 12:35-1:35 a.m.). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Last Call" averaged a 0.5 rating in adults 18-49, to top "Nightline" and "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 each) and tie "Late Show with David Letterman" (0.5/2 from 11:35 p.m.-12:35 a.m.).

· "Fast official" ratings for "Tonight" and "Late Night" are expected later today.

· Tuesday's "Tonight Show" featured Paul Rudd, Shaquille O'Neal and Hannibal Buress and Wednesday's telecast is scheduled to include Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler (appearing together) and musical guest Dierks Bentley.

· Tuesday's "Late Night" featured Kanye West, Russell Wilson and writer Robyn Doolittle and Wednesday's edition is scheduled to include Kelly Ripa, Brad Paisley and musical guest Brad Paisley

Detailed Tuesday Late-Night Results in the Metered Markets:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 4.0/10; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.7/8; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (2.2/8 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (1.0/7 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.2/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
