Building further ratings momentum following the successful original series premiere of Clarence (April 14, 7 p.m.), Cartoon Network's veteran original series Adventure Time returned with its Season 6 premiere on Monday, April 21, at 6 p.m., leading the network to the #1 ranking among all broadcast and cable networks Monday night (6-8 p.m.) for delivery of kids & boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. In addition to outperforming all key kids competition by double, triple and quadruple digits as well as last year's time period, the Adventure Time premiere also scored the most-watched telecast to date in 2014 among kids 2-11 & 9-14 and boys 2-11 & 9-14. Overall, the Cartoon Network Studios production attracted nearly 3.5 million viewers 2+, representing a 153% increase vs. last year's time period.
Anchoring Cartoon Network's award-winning line-up of original animated comedies (Mondays, 6-8 p.m.), the Adventure Time Season 6 premiere grew by double and triple digits - from 41% to 164% - across all targeted kids and boys demos vs. key benchmarks, including lead-in, the prior week, the previous week and the same time period last year. It also landed as the #1 telecast of the day among all kids 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 and all targeted boy demos. Similarly to the network overall, Adventure Time beat the kids competition by double, triple and quadruple digits across all demos, ranging between 61% and 2033%.
Cartoon Network's Emmy-winning Monday night line-up of original animated series from Cartoon Network Studios consists of Adventure Time (6 p.m.), Regular Show (6:30 p.m.), Clarence (7 p.m.) and Uncle Grandpa (7:30 p.m.), all of which ranked #1 in their time periods among targeted kids and boy demos.

· Boys 2-11 delivery (1,025,000) increased by 131%, and ratings (5.1) also by 132%
· Boys 6-11 delivery (794,000) increased by 131%, and ratings (6.5) by 124%
· Boy 9-14 delivery (787,000) increased by 164%, and ratings (6.4) by 156%

· Kids 2-11 delivery (1,230,000) increased by 53%, and ratings (3.1) by 55%
· Kids 6-11 delivery (917,000) increased by 56%, and ratings (3.9) also by 56%
· Kids 9-14 delivery (780,000) increased by 55%, and ratings (3.2) also by 52%
· Boys 2-11 delivery (911,000) increased by 61%, and ratings (4.5) also by 61%
